The USS Yang (NCC-321616) was a 32nd century Federation starship, a Friendship-class vessel in Starfleet service in the 3180s decade. The Yang operated from the hidden Federation Headquarters space station.

Service history

In the year 3189, the USS Yang was one of several Friendship-class starships operating from Federation HQ during the time when Fleet Admiral Charles Vance welcomed a time-displaced 23rd century Federation starship, the USS Discovery, to the fleet. Following the defeat of the Emerald Chain flagship Viridian, the Yang was part of the flotilla that welcomed the Discovery-A back to Federation HQ. (DSC episode: "That Hope Is You, Part 2")

In an alternate timeline beset by the Q Continuum's temporal anomaly crisis, versions of the Yang appeared in the year 2380 and were used by Starfleet to help Q solve the crisis. (ST video game: Timelines)
