The USS Yates (NCC-707) was a 23rd century Federation starship, a Akula-class light cruiser in Starfleet service in the 2280s and 2290s decades.

Service history and disposition[]

Yates was initially equipped as a standard light cruiser (CL).

This vessel had the capability of being modified for service as an advanced light cruiser (CL+). (ST video games: Starfleet Command II: Empires at War, Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates)

No history or definitive fate is established for this vessel as its name was randomly selected for a light cruiser by the SFC games' software.
