The USS Yorktown (NCC-61137) was a Zodiac-class starship in service to Starfleet in the 24th century.

Prior to his assignment to the Enterprise, William T. Riker served on the Yorktown under the command of Captain Ledbetter. One of his crewmates on that ship was Teller Conlon (TNG novels: Fortune's Light, Reunion, Ghost Ship)

In 2370, the Yorktown went to Starbase Deep Space Nine to pick up the survivors of the USS Odyssey following that ship's destruction by the Jem'Hadar. (novel: The Brave and the Bold, Part 2)

By 2372, the Yorktown was under the command of Captain Kentrav. Lieutenant Sean Hawk was conn officer on the Yorktown prior to his transfer to the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E). (TNG novel: Section 31: Rogue).

In 2373, the Yorktown was recreated in a simulation for the Kobayashi Maru Test for Cadet Nog. (DS9 short story: "The Bottom Line")

In an alternate future, Captain Shelby commanded the Yorktown when it was ordered by Admiral Riker to investigate the Devron system. (TNG episode and novelization: "All Good Things...").
