Zodiac was one of a number of Federation vessels to bear the name Zodiac, named after the ancient derivation of coordinate systems based on the Human civilization's observation of the path of the sun Sol through the sky visible on the planet Earth. (TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)
- No specific history or definitive final fate was established for this vessel in TNG video game: Birth of the Federation as its name was selected for a destroyer by the game developers, and is placed randomly when the ship appears.
