History and specifics[]
The Umbral sector and its systems were targeted by the Hur'q during the Hur'q Conflict[1] in the year 2410. Following the restoration of the Hur'q civilization, rogue swarms remained a threat for the weakened Dominion, though as a newly inducted member into the Khitomer Alliance, it received military aid.
