Under the Sun was a pulp mystery book in the Dixon Hill series of Earth detective literature.
History and specifics[]
It was among the more popular books in the pantheon.
In the year 2375, Ro Laren began reading Under the Sun, which was stored in the USS Enterprise-D's computer library. She didn't enjoy the first chapter. Later, she started again, determined to finish the whodunit. (TNG novel: The Romulan Stratagem)
Mirror Universe[]
In the 2360s decade, the mirror universe's Jean-Luc Picard kept an original edition of Under the Sun on a bookshelf in his quarters aboard the ISS Enterprise-D, along with two others: Murder in Camera and The Knowing Look. The prime reality Picard visited his counterpart's quarters in 2367 and recognized the novels. (TNG novel: Dark Mirror)
