Unefra III was an inhabited Cardassian planet in the Unefra star system. (DS9 episode: "Improbable Cause")

History and specifics[]

The planet was colonized by Cardassians at some point after 2346. (ST video game: Infinite)

Enabran Tain had a secret safe house on the planet, although Elim Garak was aware of its existence. In 2371, Garak and Odo were heading to Unefra III when they were intercepted by the IRW Serrola and brought aboard the warbird to meet Tain. (DS9 episode: "Improbable Cause")

By 2376, Julian Bashir had been working with a cellular biologist on Unefra III on an advanced program that analyzed Satellite DNA for some time. (DS9 novel: Unity)
