The United Earth Council was a high-ranking body in the government of United Earth.

In 2155, the United Earth Starfleet determined that it needed to inform the United Earth Council of evidence of Romulan hijackings of vessels of states belonging to the Coalition of Planets. (ENT novel: Kobayashi Maru)

In 2281, Jasmine al-Faisal served as the High Commissioner of the United Earth Council, so her daughter Cleante al-Faisal became a Federation Warrantor of Peace. (TOS novel: Dwellers in the Crucible)

The exact nature of the United Earth Council remains unestablished. Its relationship with the United Earth Parliament is unknown. It may be the name for the UP Prime Minister's cabinet, for instance, or it may be the formal name for a parliamentary house.
