The United Earth Defense Force Vessel was a 32nd century Terran starship type, a tier 6-rated multi-purpose spacecraft representing the only class in United Earth Defense Force service in the 3180s decade. Due to time travel, this class of ship was acquired and deployed by the 25th century Khitomer Alliance. A ship of this class could deploy a mobile defense net during combat. Service history and specifics[]
Following the Burn, which affected the galaxy adversely, United Earth pulled out of the United Federation of Planets. Without Starfleet protecting Federation members, Earth's defense force, the United Earth Defense Force vessel was deployed to prevent access to the Human homeworld.
This vessel appeared metallic white and consisted of detached components. It operated close to the planet. United Earth was unaware of what went on in the rest of the Sol system, leading to armed conflict between UEDF vessels and Jovian-class raiders from Titan.
In the year 3189, Captain Ndoye was in charge of a UEDF squadron when Earth was confronted by a time-displaced 23rd century Starfleet ship, the USS Discovery. (DSC episode: "People of Earth")
In employ by the Khitomer Alliance from 2411, the UEDF vessel was capable of travelling across the galaxy using warp, transwarp and Quantum slipstream drives. (STO - Reflections mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
