UnitedEarthEmbassy

The United Earth Embassy on Vulcan in 2154.

The United Earth Embassy on Vulcan was United Earth's permanent diplomatic mission to the Confederacy of Vulcan prior to the Founding of the Federation in the 22nd Century. Located in the heart of Shi'Kahr, the Vulcan capital, the United Earth Embassy was an impressive structure from which the United Earth Ambassador to the Confederacy of Vulcan operated. It was administered through the United Earth Diplomatic Corps, with officers from the United Earth Starfleet serving in operational support positions such as security.

In mid-2154, United Earth Starfleet Admiral Maxwell Forrest and Vulcan Ambassador to United Earth Soval visited the embassy to discuss the preliminary stages of future joint missions between the United Earth Starfleet and the Vulcan High Command. In the course of this discussion, the embassy was bombed and badly damaged, killing at least 43 people, including Admiral Forrest. The bombing was originally blamed on the Syrannite movement, which the High Command characterized as a terrorist organization. It was later found that the embassy was bombed by agents of Administrator V'Las, who sought to publiclly discredit pacifist movements such as the Syrrannites as part of his plot to launch a pre-emptive invasion of the Andorian Empire. (ENT episodes: "The Forge", "Awakening", "Kir'Shara")
