- Data has informed me that Verad used codes tortured out of the Dax symbiont to seize control ot the Trill Defense Perimeter.
During the war, Jadzia Dax upgraded these unmanned ships into formidable weapons to defend Trill from the Jem'Hadar.
And now because of one madman, they're about to lay waste to the world they were made to defend.
- Captain's log, stardate 53181.9
- ...The antidote created by Doctors Crusher and Bashir-- with help from Odan-- Has eradicated Verad's artificial virus.
Elias is the Defiant home to Deep Space 9 to make more thorough repairs.
The Enterprise will remain at Trill for a few more weeks...
...While Mister La Forge rebuilds the port warp nacelle-- among other things.
Meanwhile, the Trill President assure me her society is on the road to recovery.
