Ships of this class were part of the fleets attacking a Federation and Klingon starbases. (STO - Call to Arms mission: "Fleet Alert")

In the Solanae Dyson Sphere, ships of those this class operated in the Undine Battlezone, the sector of space in the Voth Zone conquered by the Undine. They engaged in battle with the forces of Dyson Joint Command. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "Fluidic Destruction")

8472 Counter-Command, a task force of allied Milky Way Galaxy powers, undertook Operation: Viscous Cycle to attack Undine shipyards in fluidic space. The shipyards were defended by the Undine planet killer PK Gamma as well as unnamed Dromias, Dactylus-, Nicor- and Vila bioships, as well as Undine larval ships. Admiral Tuvok's task force were forced to engage the defenders at Shipyard Alpha, Beta and Gamma to reach and destroy a trio of proto-planet killers before they could hatch and attack planets in the primary universe. Ships of this class participated in the concentrated Undine attack on the Beta Quadrant in June 2410. They travelled from the Delta Quadrant by way of the Iconian gateways connecting the Jenolan and Solanae Dyson spheres. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "A Step Between Stars")

Following the end of the Iconian War, ships of this class were part of their faction's attack on the joint Kentari-Lukari Dranuur Colony. Kuumaarke and Geordi La Forge rallied the defense of the colony world by a Khitomer Alliance task force. (STO - Task Force Operation mission: "Dranuur Gauntlet")

Eighteen Dromias-class bio-cruisers were part of the joint Undine-Khitomer Alliance task force led by Designate 7734. The Undine commander led the task force, which included a trio of Undine planet killers, into an assault on a Borg structure of interconnected unicomplexes of the primary universe Borg Collective, mirror universe Borg Kingdom and alternate reality Control Borg. Several of the bio-cruisers were waylaid by trios of Borg probes. The Khitomer Alliance ships of the task force balanced their duties at the unicomplexes with destroying the probes and liberating the captured Dromias bio-cruisers. Designate 7734 took the time to thank the task force each time one of the eighteen ships was rescued. (STO - Task Force Operation mission: "Royal Flush")
