This type of starship operated by the Federation Starfleet in the 2260s decade of the Kelvin timeline created by the temporal displacement of the Narada. One notable member of the class was the USS Endeavour, which took aboard James T. Kirk as interim captain in the year 2263. (TOS - Boldly Go comic: "Issue 1")
Specifications
Similar to, but smaller than the Constitution-class, this ship type featured a smaller diameter saucer section with a triangular promontory under the bridge. The secondary hull and warp nacelles were mostly similar to those of the Constitution, but the neck and nacelle pylons were truncated by comparison, giving the ship a more compact profile.
The USS Endeavour, had a maximum warp speed in excess of warp 8.
