Patriarch of Kzin[]
The leading authority in the Kzinti Patriarchy was known as the Patriarch of Kzin, who would disavow any privateer operations.
Blood Gnat captain[]
Blood Gnat captain.
In the 2270s, numerous Kzinti manned the Kzinti ground base on Mimit after capturing it from Bebebebeque, including those who served aboard the Mimit Defense Squadron's Kzinti fighters. When Blood Gnat led a surprise attack on the Federation starship USS Enterprise in orbit of Mimit, and a SW7 class shuttle fired at them, the Kzinti captain ignored the shuttle, setting his sights on the Enterprise. Later, he would mourn the death of Srith when Death Dagger was destroyed. As captain of the last surviving squadron ship, he returned to see their ground base in flames, and ordered all survivors to be brought to their ship.
Ground base leader[]
Ground base leader.
The control room of the Kzinti ground base was led by a helmeted Kzinti with the title of communications officer. He told a technician that one of their fighters had caused the SW7 shuttle to crash. After ordering a Beek slave to confirm the sensor console was working properly, he would dispatch a hunting party to the shuttle wreck. He later put the base on alert after detecting communications between the Enterprise and the shuttle.
Hunting party[]
Hunting party.
A two-man Kzinti hunting party departed the Kzinti ground base in a hovercar, unaware that Beeks had sabotaged its fuel line to buy time to beam out the shuttle's crew. The duo mused whether to eat the crew or capture them. They made it back to base, but injured. The one who was still conscious reported that the only life inside the shuttle was a Ravager, and after escaping from it, they had left a trail of their own blood leading back to the base. He was certain that the Ravager was part of a large migratory herd that would follow their scent and invade the base.
Security guards[]
Security officers.
When Starfleet signals started coming from inside their base, the communications officer sent several Kzinti security guards to hunt down the source.
Later, when numerous Ravagers burst into the base, armed guards tried to repel them. (TOS comic: "The Wristwatch Plantation")
Scavengers[]
Scavengers in 2378.
In 2378, at least six Kzinti boarded the USS Defiant when it had been left abandoned by Worf, B'Elanna Torres, and Ro Laren in the Delta Triangle. When Miles O'Brien arrived and discovered the intruders, he flooded the ship with helium to make them leave. (DFT - The Stars of Home comic: "Part 2")
