We've noticed that you've made a contribution to our database—thank you! We all hope that you'll enjoy the activities of our community after reading this brief introduction.

If you'd like to learn more about working with the nuts and bolts of Memory Beta, here are a few links that you might want to check out:

  • Manual of Style: Please be sure to read this before contributing, so you know how to accurately cite your sources, and search the site to make sure the article you want to make doesn't already exist.
  • Policies and Guidelines: For a list of the policies and guidelines that we adhere to on Memory Beta.
  • Wanted pages: For a list of pages we want most, although any contributions you make are greatly appreciated!

One other suggestion: If you're going to make comments on talk pages or make other sorts of comments, please be sure to sign them with four tildes (~~~~) to paste in your user name and the date/time of the comment.

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them in a member's talk page or the community portal. Thanks, and once again, welcome to Memory Beta!

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! Captainmike (talk) 19:23, March 29, 2020 (UTC)

Code templates Edit

Hi i noticed you added a deletion suggestion to the code template {{!}}. that's a code template used across the site, there's no good reason to delete it, and adding things like that could break wiki functionality, when if you have a problem you could start a discussion rather than making a potentially disruptive edit. please do not be disruptive -- captainmike Wiki-wordmark 16:05, May 12, 2020 (UTC)

Hi, the lat message i left here was about an issue where you tampered with a code page, but in addition to issues like that, we also have an issue where you have been - repeatedly - making inappropriate use of page moves through the 'rename' function. While nominating pages for deletion without valid cause border on patent nonsense, moving articles to different names without cause or reason borders on vandalism. Zhat Vash is at its proper name, as is Assimilation², and as a new member i'd expect you to speak up and discuss the reasoning you might have to rename those rather than doing drastic moves

I've avoided escalating to this point but I am now issuing a warning: please reconsider your editing behavior or seek help if you are encountering an issue with the way pages are named -- captainmike Wiki-wordmark 21:59, May 15, 2020 (UTC)
