Appropriate sources[edit source]

Hello, please be aware that pre-release information, including excerpts, is not an appropriate source for adding information to articles. While excerpts are probably quite reliable representations of the final product they are not the final source themselves and it is possible they will change. If you would like to add information from such sources it would be appropriate to add as background information, making it clear it is from a forthcoming and as yet unreleased title. --8of5 01:05, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Deletion notices[edit source]

Hey, I see that you've put a deletion notice on Denton Clarke, which is fine I am going to delete it. However, when putting up these notices can you not blank the page? I noticed that you've done it a couple other times and it's just easier if the text is still in the article. Thanks!--Long Live the United Earth (talk) 03:59, June 9, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, a lot of the other wikis I'd used had us delete the contents when we put up a delete notice. - Nx1701g (talk) 05:03, June 9, 2013 (UTC)

RE the USS Brisbane[edit source]

What gives? There will be a huge story created for this minor ship, why can't it be set up here? Memory Alpha is the Canon wiki, this is the extended universe wiki --Nathanius (talk) 00:48, December 11, 2014 (UTC)

No this isn't for extended universe articles. You're looking for Memory Gamma. http://memory-gamma.wikia.com/wiki/Portal:Main - Nx1701g (talk) 01:11, December 11, 2014 (UTC)
