Biography[]
Uteln was a Starfleet lieutenant commander in the 2380s decade, serving on the Federation starship USS Robinson as security chief and tactical officer.
In the year 2381, Uteln informed Captain Benjamin Sisko that a real-time message from Earth was being received for his eyes only. (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Rough Beasts of Empire)
In 2386, Lieutenant Commander Uteln mentioned that his two children had reached adulthood in the 2370s. (DS9 novel: Original Sin)
