The VSS Troodon was a 25th century Voth starship, a tier 6-rated tier 6-rated Bastille-class temporal science vessel prototype in the Voth's expeditionary force and Khitomer Alliance service in the 2410s decade. The Troodon was deployed from the Fleet Spire in the Solanae Dyson Sphere.

The VSS Troodon was deployed from the a spire, supertall buildings within Dyson spheres; specifically, the Fleet Spire operated by Joint Alliance Command in 2409 and the Khitomer Alliance in the 2410s. The Fleet Spire was situated across the "northern" border of the Allied Zone in the Solanae Dyson sphere in the Delta Quadrant. (STO - Ascension mission: "Supply Woes")
From the year 2411 onwards, flag officers of the Khitomer Alliance could deploy the Troodon alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
