Vab 7791 was a star system located in the Orion Neutrality Area, near the border with the Klingon Empire, in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. It was inside a dust cloud.

It was binary system, consisting of two almost-twin suns: one a yellow star, the other a white star.
The system was home to at least one planet, but had no Class M worlds. The first planet was called simply "Vab", an Orion-held world that served as a base to both the Orion Space Navy and Orion pirates. Its orbit took it between the two suns, where it received constant daylight and many kinds of dangerous radiation.
