Valerie Townsend was a 23rd century Human woman who lived on Sheridan's World.
Biography[]
Townsend was born in the early 2240s as a Federation citizen and became an authority on agricultural technology. She was also qualified in ground vehicle operations. (FASA RPG module: Conflict of Interests)
In the year 2268, on reference stardate 2/09, she was one of 200 who settled in the city of Continuity on the Human/Klingon colony of Sheridan's World. (FASA RPG modules: Conflict of Interests, Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)
Townsend married Samuel Tashket and bore him a son around the turn of the 2280s, Carl. She worked as a farmer.
In 2283, when she was 40 years old, each citizen's vote was taken to decide the colony's future. Townsend supported an alliance with the Federation, but if forced to choose another option she was much more likely to favor an alliance with the Klingon Empire to the continued neutrality of Sheridan's World.
