The Valley of Chula was a geographic location on the planet Romulus, a valley dotted with settlements, shadowed by a nearby mountain range. (TNG episode: "The Defector")
History and specifics[]
The Valley of Chula was situated in Brel'Kar, a continent in the eastern hemisphere. (ST module: Worlds)
It was noted as one of the most beloved areas on the Romulan homeworld which cut straight through the heart of the Kae'raktar Mountains. The Valley was a vast kilometer long region that contained the most beautiful vistas as well as the most exquisite climate on the entire world. By the western pass into Chula was the Praetor's Summer Palace which was perched on the high hill giving it the appearance of a gold winged eagle that was looking for prey. The Praetor often resided at this home during the summer months where the breeze of the Valley offered cool air during the hot weather.
Other locations in the valley included the Tor'ren River, the Fareldi Brewery and the Chula House. (Last Unicorn RPG module: The Way of D'era: The Romulan Star Empire)
In 2366, Admiral Alidar Jarok visited a recreation of the Valley of Chula on the holodeck aboard the USS Enterprise-D during his brief defection to the Federation. (TNG episode: "The Defector")
