Vanetta Angelis was a human woman serving in the Federation Starfleet in the 24th century. She was an engineer and was assigned to the USS Enterprise-B in the 2300s.
In late-2302 or early-2303, Angelis began dating Demora Sulu, the Enterprise's first officer. Despite this, their relationship was not deemed inappropriate as Angelis did not report directly to her - there were several steps between them in the ship's command structure. Several months later, the couple began dating Aravesh ch'Vrane, a xenobiologist also serving aboard the Enterprise. (The Lost Era novel: One Constant Star)
