The Vela Expanse is a region of space in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, among the groupings of stars and objects visible from Earth in the constellation of Vela.
History and specifics[]
The Vela Expanse includes a portion of the Romulan Star Empire near the Romulan Venturius sector and Trelka's Lair. Likewise, borders of the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire were in the vicinity of this expanse. (Last Unicorn RPG module: The Way of D'era: The Romulan Star Empire)
