Vess was a Trill person, a joined Trill known as a racing daredevil on planet Trill by the 2370s decade, long after their death. This person was the first host of the Vess symbiont. (DS9 novel: Revenant)

Legacy[]

During an investigation into a conspiracy in 2372, Jadzia Dax recalled that Vess had been one of the greatest symbionts of all times due to the notoriety of its many lives, including as a racing daredevil.

The Vess symbiont died from Fventik's Disease in the 24th century. (DS9 novel: Revenant)
