Victor Bergman was a 20th century human.
He served as the chief astronomer for Anderson Space Command. In 1996, Sarah Jane Smith interviewed him for an article about the launch of the SS Botany Bay. Bergman admitted tracking was lost when the vessel left Earth orbit but expected it to come back. (ST reference: Federation: The First 150 Years)
