Vierne was a 23rd century Human woman who served in the operations division of Starfleet as a security guard aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2260s decade.
Biography[]
In the year 2269, when Nyota Uhura assumed command of the Enterprise after all male personnel were incapacitated by a Taurean lura-mag device, Uhura transported down with Vierne, Christine Chapel, Ensign Tadaki and two other security team members. Uhura and Vierne beamed back up while assisting the hyper-aged James T. Kirk and Leonard McCoy. Vierne then returned and assisted Carver to beam up. (TOS - Log Two novelization: The Lorelei Signal)
