Vinithnel sh'Mirrin is an Andorian shen who served as Defense Commissioner of the United Federation of Planets after the resignation of Min glasch Noar.
History[]
Sh'Mirrin was made the Federation Commissioner of Defense in 2163. In 2165, Admiral Jonathan Archer, one of the Chiefs of Staff for the Federation Starfleet, briefed her about the Ware task force. She later attended a meeting of the five Joint Chiefs, where they discussed the possibility of a Klingon attack on the Federation. (ENT - Rise of the Federation novel: Live by the Code)
