Viola was a 23rd century Human woman, an officer who served in Starfleet.
Biography[]
In the 2250s decade, Viola was assigned to the Federation starship USS Enterprise as a bridge science officer, under the command of Captain Christopher Pike.
In the year 2254 she stood in for Spock. With Spock on the bridge, a spacial rift about to close, and navigator José Tyler still on Calligar, Viola took the navigator's station and set course for the Enterprise to depart at warp two through the rift. Tyler was beamed back with less than two minutes to spare, and he relieved Viola at navigation. (TOS novel: The Rift)
