Food in a food delivery slot.

Vix vivax was a type of bread favored by Romulans in the 23rd century.

History and specifics[]

In the year 2268, the Romulan Commander provided Nurse Christine Chapel with a copy of the recipe during her stay aboard the starship USS Enterprise. It was served for her and the ship's crew, and was well liked.

Chapel adapted it for the ship's food processors as a raisin walnut bread, formulated using milk, butter, sugar, molasses, salt, cream, yeast, flour, raisins, walnuts, and an egg. (TOS reference: Official Cooking Manual)
