Vod was a Trill symbiont whose hosts included Jayvin.

In the year 2265, Jayvin Vod discovered a bluegill neural parasite inside a rogue comet, which dissolved the host-symbiont bond, and corrupted the memories of the symbiont. Vod was allowed to die, and its death, as well as the existence of the neural parasites, was covered up by the Trill Symbiosis Commission. (DS9 - The Lives of Dax short story: "Sins of the Mother")

Hosts[]

The list above is a speculative chronological order of Vod hosts, based on story context. However, all that is certain is that Jayvin was the final joining.
