Vole fighting is a popular sport on Cardassia that pits voles against each other.

The Rebron Arena, just outside Cardassia City, plays host to weekly vole fights that include bets that Cardassians put on the vole they expect to win. (ST reference: Federation Travel Guide)

In 2371, Quark and Morn were preparing to stage a vole fight with the voles Quark had rounded up in his storeroom. The pair were caught by Odo, who brought Quark to Benjamin Sisko, who told Odo to confiscate the voles and remove them from Deep Space 9. (DS9 episode: "Through the Looking Glass")
