"Voyage of Discovery" was a board game printed within the comic omnibus Star Trek Annual 1969 by World Distributors. It contained a brief, in-universe adventure of the USS Enterprise.
Description[]
- The Enterprise has a five-year mission in space — to unlock the mysteries of the unknown. Here Captain James Kirk and his crew are traveling to the unexplored planet Nekros in the outer reaches of our galaxy.
Summary[]
Near the beginning of their voyage to Nekros, a landing party retreats from large robotic spiders, one of which shoots a green beam at a member of the crew. Midway on their journey, officers combat running vine plants on planet K-G. Near Nekros, the Enterprise engages in battle against three smaller ships.
