Vran was an stuffed toy doll that belonged to Shannon Moulton in 2246. Vran was made up to appear as a male Andorian.

Following the crisis on Tarsus IV and subsequent massacre of 4,000 colonists Moulton gave Vran to Lieutenant Commander Philippa Georgiou.
Vran was still in the possession of Captain Georgiou during her time as commanding officer of the USS Shenzhou. When Moulton came aboard Georgiou's ship she was suprrised to learn that Georgiou had kept Vran all these years, but Georgiou explained that she had done so as Vran had been a gift from Moulton to her.
