Vrek's warbird was an unidentified 24th century Romulan starship, a Kiith-class warbird[1] in Imperial Star Navy service in the 2380s decade. Its commanding officer was Subcommander Vrek. (LD episode: "I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee")

Nova Fleet in pursuit of the USS Passaro.
In the year 2381, Nicholas Locarno formed the independent Nova Fleet group and recruited lower decks personnel from different organizations. This included Subordinate Malok abord Vrek's warbird. (LD episode: "Old Friends, New Planets")
Soon after stardate 58724.3[2], the hitherto unidentified Nova 1 approached Vrek's warbird and disabled its systems. Subcommander Vrek suspected sabotage by Malok. The ship appeared to be destroyed and debris of its hull was left behind. (LD episode: "I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee")
By stardate 58934.9, following successful mutinies by the lower deckers, Locarno and the Nova Fleet marooned the former commanding officers in the jungle of Sherbal V. (LD episode: "The Inner Fight")
Nova Fleet operated from a space station. Ships of the fleet were given a partial red livery paintjob and the Nova Kolvoord Starburst insignia. On Vrek's warbird, the starboard side was painted red. When Fleet Commander Locarno failed to recruit Lieutenant junior grade Beckett Mariner of the USS Cerritos to his cause, she grabbed Locarno's Genesis Device and fled from his flagship Nova 1. Mariner and "Genie" beamed aboard the uncrewed USS Passaro and attempted to run the blockade of the trynar shield around the Detrion star system. Mariner used her mother's - Captain Carol Freeman's - command codes to gain command of the Passaro and designated "Genie" as first officer. Vrek's warbird, Cosmia's interceptor and Gem's starship pursued the Passaro until it evaded the trynar shield. Locarno then personally chased the Passaro into an unstable area of space with the Nova 1 after Malok and the other mutineers abandoned Nova Fleet. Locarno perished in the detonation of the Genesis Device and Nova Fleet was over. (LD episode: "Old Friends, New Planets")
