Vulcan Space Initiative

The Vulcan Space Initiative, also known as the VSI, was a group that was created during Vulcans past in the time of Surak which was tasked with creating Vulcans first space capable starships.

Though it was a large leap in Vulcan's technological development, the Initiatives goal was primarily in the field of producing space capable warships which would dominate the other factions that ruled Vulcan at the time.

It was stationed at the Vulcan Space Institute at ShiKahr. (TOS - Vulcan's Soul novel: Exodus)
