The Vulcan experimental scout vessel, or Jellyfish, was a 24th century Vulcan starship type, an experimental scout ship in Vulcan Science Academy service from the 2380s decade, and deployed by the Khitomer Alliance in the 2410s. (STO website: Awakening: Command Spock's Jellyfish!)

The experimental scout vessel was developed by Commander Geordi La Forge at the Vulcan Science Academy on Vulcan for scientific operations in the 2380s. In flight, the vessel's components rotated around the horizontally-oriented passenger compartment. (STO website: Awakening: Command Spock's Jellyfish!)

When a star went supernova and threatened Romulus, Ambassador Spock commanded the Jellyfish in 2387. He deployed red matter to stop the supernova but Romulus was destroyed. Spock's Jellyfish was then pulled into a black hole and deposited in the year 2258 of the Kelvin timeline, where it was destroyed in battle between Romulans and the Federation. 25th century[]
In the 25th century, the Lobi Crystal Consortium sold this vessel, classed as a tier 6 experimental scout vessel, to commanding officers of the Khitomer Alliance. (STO website: Awakening: Command Spock's Jellyfish!)
Mirror universe[]
The ISS Jellyfish in 2263.
A permutation of the mirror universe that interacted with the Kelvin timeline in the 2260s, Spock developed the ISS Jellyfish as an espionage vessel and shout ship to spy on allies of the Terran Empire and seek out rebellions. It was equipped with an experimental dark matter drive, allowing it to travel without appearing on scanners; and armed with T-38 disruptor cannons. (ST video game: Fleet Command)
