In 2373, Rom attempted to persuade Leeta to sign a WP&P. Leeta refused and their engagement was called off. Rom later relented and gave away all his latinum to Bajoran war orphans. (DS9 episode: "Ferengi Love Songs")

By 2376, Rom, now Grand Nagus, had introduced a number of reforms within the Ferengi Alliance, one of which declared all prenuptial Waivers of Property and Profit being null and void.
