Walt Simonson (1946 - ) is an American comic book artist. He illustrated one TOS cover and two pin-up portraits.

Simonson pencilled two issues of Star-Spangled War Stories with author Gerry Boudreau that served as prequels for the Gold Key Comics story "Siege in Superspace". He has also drawn Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Alien comics. His debut work was the science fiction miniseries Star Slammers.

He was inducted in the Will Eisner Hall of Fame along with fellow DC Comics and Star Trek artists Neal Adams, John Byrne, Dick Giordano, Russ Heath, Carmine Infantino, Gil Kane, Frank Miller, George Pérez, Bill Sienkiewicz, Curt Swan, and Al Williamson. He is married to Marvel Comics editor Louise Jones.
