Walter Emick was a Human man serving in Starfleet in the 24th century. Emick was a Captain in Starfleet, and was the commanding officer of the USS Intrepid.
Biography[]
In 2376, Emick commanded the Intrepid during the evacuation of Europa Nova when the planet was struck by a massive theta irradiated waste field during the Gateways Crisis. (DS9 - Gateways novel: Demons of Air and Darkness)
In 2380, Emick was ordered to Outpost 22 in response to the detection of a Reman ship heading for the border. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
In an alternate timeline, Emick and his crew were killed in 2373, when the Intrepid was destroyed by Cardassians at Dorvan V. (ST - Myriad Universes novel: A Gutted World)
