For other uses, see Wanderer.

Wanderer was a sentient electromagenetic lifeform. In 2152, Wanderer eliminated the Oani and boarded Enterprise during its investigation of the planet Oan in that year.

Wanderer killed to consume the energy in humanoid lifeforms. It believed itself to have a philosophy of non-violence against sentient beings, but defined sentience as being any race with which it could communicate. It could communicate with Vulcans and interacted with Subcommander T'Pol on the Enterprise, but did not consider humans or Oani to be sentient.

After a battle with the Enterprise crew, Wanderer was captured by Vulcan engineers and transported to Vulcan. (ENT novel: Surak's Soul)
