For other uses, see Wasp.

The Wasp was a Starfleet shuttlepod assigned to the Federation starship USS Enterprise-E in 2378.

In 2378, Commanders Riker and Troi used the Wasp to observe Ontailian ship movements in the Rashanar Battle Site. After observing an Ontailian starship launching an antimatter storage pod, the Wasp became powerless in a subspace vortex, but was subsequently rescued by the Ontailians.
