Waypoint, Issue 4 was the fourth issue of the Waypoint series published by IDW Publishing in honor of Star Trek's 50th anniversary.

DescriptionEdit

First, an ENTERPRISE story by Vivek Tiwary and Artist TK. Captain Archer’s pet beagle Porthos takes center stage in a Temporal Cold War tale that sees the beloved pooch traveling back in time in order to save a young Jonathan’s life. Then, a NEXT GENERATION story by Scott Bryan Wilson involving double trouble – quite literally – for an away team when they explore a strange new planet!

SummaryEdit

"Welcome back to Waypoint and our continued look at new and interesting angles of the Star Trek universe. This issue we are excited to feature the first Enterprise comic EVER! It's a sweet story of a boy and his time-traveling dog guaranteed to warm even the coldest of hearts. Our other story focuses on the The Next Generation crew. While we're exploring the Mirror Universe in a separate TNG miniseries called Mirror Broken (in stores in May), this tale uses mirroring in quite a different way. It's a thought-provoking visual feast we think you'll enjoy very much."
