Humans and Xindi-Reptilians battle over Weapon Zero in 2154.
Weapon Zero[1] was a 22nd century Xindi-Primate—designed Xindi starship, a superweapon ship in Xindi Council service in the 2150s decade. (ENT episode: "Countdown")
Service history and specifics[]
In March[2] 2153, the Xindi-Reptilians deployed the Xindi probe against Earth. The small, one-person ship served as a prototype for the larger weapon. (ENT episode & novelization: The Expanse)
The main weapon was called 'Weapon Zero. It was built by the Primate Degra. (Wizkids module: Star Trek: Attack Wing)
Resources for its construction were provided by all five extant Xindi species. Weapon Zero was built underwater at Azati Prime. (ENT episode: "Azati Prime")
Weapon Zero approaches Earth.
Weapon Zero was launched against the wishes of the Xindi Council by Commander Guruk Dolim, who swayed the Reptilians and Xindi-Insectoids into betraying the Council. The Human starship Enterprise NX-01 allied with the Council. A battle ensued between the parties. The Insectoids abandoned their stance. Dolim achieved sole control over Weapon Zero. (ENT episode: "Countdown")
The weapon ship destroyed the Earth science outpost Yosemite III before it was destroyed by the Humans. (ENT episode: "Zero Hour")
Alternate timelines[]
In an alternate timeline where Captain Jonathan Archer was infected with memory-affecting parasites, Enterprise failed to catch up with Weapon Zero before it was launched. The Xindi deployed it against Earth, destroying the planet. Weapon Zero then proceeded to target other Human worlds, including Mars. (ENT episode: "Twilight")
In another alternate timeline, a temporal anomaly deposited Enterprise NX-01, Weapon Zero and a Xindi fleet in the 24th century. Joining forces with the 2370s-era Federation Starfleet Sovereign-class starship USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E), the NX-01 was able to destroy Weapon Zero and its escorts in the 24th century. (ST video game: Encounters)
In one of a myriad of timelines, Lieutenant junior grade B'Elanna Torres compared the Xindi planet-killer's physics with those of the Species 8472 planet-killing mechanism in 2373. (VOY - Myriad Universes - Infinity's Prism novella: Places of Exile)
