The Weibrand logarithmic developmental scale was a scale used to compare the development of different groups and races.

The scale was developed by Hyram Weibrand in 2295. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Core Game Book)

According the scale, in the mid-24th century at the time of the Occupation of Bajor, Cardassian technology was more or less equal to that of the Federation, only two points different. (DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual, DS9 novel: Avatar, Book One‎)
