"When the Walls Fell, Part 3" is a comic, the 27th issue of the un-subtitled Star Trek series from IDW Publishing. It was released in December 2024 and collected in the When the Walls Fell omnibus in September 2025.
Description[]
- Lore's destruction has consumed everything in the universe except the USS Theseus and the Celestial Temple. In one last maneuver, the crew uses every ounce of power left in their main systems to shoot their ship across the galaxy to the temple. While their ship flies, the crew has a Louisiana-style supper and heal wounds between them before they must say their final goodbyes, for Benjamin Sisko is of Bajor, and he must return home if Lore is to be stopped.

- There are no stars left to tell. Lore has consumed everything. Every planet. Every star. Every galaxy. Every universe. We're alone. The Kardashev drive remains active, which allows us to survive within a singular pocket of existence. It won't last forever. Despair is palpable. Every dark viewport reminds us we've already lost. But the crew is performing admirably. For now.
- I tell myself that we are not giving up. That we are not going to give in. But no one will... That they knew how brave this crew has been. I wish someone would hear this. But I wonder if that's simply because we don't know how. That we can't. ... We are all that's left.
