Will Rogge was a 23rd century Human man. He attended Starfleet Academy in the early 2250s and by 2264 had risen to the rank of lieutenant.

History[]

In 2251, Cadet Rogge held a grudge against James T. Kirk, the youngest cadet on campus, believing Kirk only got in because of family connections. In frustration, Rogge jumped at Kirk, but Kirk easy avoided the attack and Rogge slammed into a wall.

When Kivo arrived to investigate, however, Kirk told the duty officer that Rogge tripped on Kirk's footlocker, thereby saving Rogge from potential expulsion. Rogge realized he misjudged Kirk's character and grew to respect him.

Later, as a lieutenant serving under General I.R. Nazoyo at SUCOM 3rd SC, Rogge wrote the paperwork that officially promoted Kirk to CO of the USS Enterprise. In a personal aside, he appended congratulations on Kirk becoming the youngest man to attain a starship-class command. (TOS comic: "Captain James T. Kirk: Psycho-File")
