William Boimler was a transporter clone of Brad Boimler created in 2381.

Biography[]

William was created while Brad was beaming through a Pakled distortion field and trying to rescue his away team. William replaced Brad as a flight controller aboard the USS Titan with the rank of lieutenant junior grade under the command of Captain William T. Riker, while Brad resumed his service as an ensign aboard the USS Cerritos. (LD episode: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")

Badgey created a hologram of William for holographic programs aboard the Cerritos in 2381. In one of Badgey's simulations, the William hologram attended FleetCon, aiding Riker at his booth and getting him a latte. Brad was pleased to see his clone, even if only as a hologram. William appeased some admirals at the convention who dared him to eat some psychotropic worms, but they made him sick. D'Vana Tendi developed an antidote for him and the admirals. Since William was too sick to help, Brad dressed as William, accompanying Riker to give them the cure. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive event: "A Real Can of Worms")

Brad would also impersonate William in order to get into an exclusive party at Starbase 25. (LD episode: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")

Later that year, William faked his death aboard the Titan in order to work for Section 31. (LD episode: "Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus")
