William J. Mendel was a 24th century Human man, a Federation historian.
Biography[]
In 2371, Mendel chaired the history department at Starfleet Academy. He administered staff that included professors Harvard Sitkoff, Jolavar ab Tolkath, Laurel Ulrich, and Zervik. He also managed a curriculum that included HIST 105 Introduction to Federation History, HIST 112 History of Starfleet, HIST 371 Museum Studies, HIST 423 Quantitative Methods for Historians, and HIST 478 Telepathic Historigraphy.
