Wilson Granger was a male Human from Mariposa, and a clone of Captain Walter Granger. By 2365, he was Prime Minister of Mariposa. That year, when the USS Enterprise-D visited Mariposa, he tried to convince Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew to donate DNA samples to be cloned in order to ensure the continuation of the Mariposan colony. When he was refused, he conspired to steal these samples, but the plot was discovered and all illicit samples destroyed. Granger eventually accepted a proposal where the recently evacuated colonists of Bringloid V would be allowed to join the Mariposans. (TNG episode: "Up the Long Ladder")
As part of the formation of the new United Ficus Colony, Granger was married to Brenna Odell, the daughter of Bringloidi leader Danilo Odell. Though initially hesitant about having a sexual relationship, Granger eventually came to feel love for Odell, a realization that came as a surprise to him. In 2366, the two had a daughter, Danielle Willa Odell-Granger, who died one day later due to severe genetic birth defects.
Granger remained Mariposan Prime Minister through 2376, by which time he came to believe Mariposa's advanced technology was a crutch his world was better rid of. However, he was heartened when he was told by Doctor Elizabeth Lense that their technology might hold hope of curing the Mariposans' infertility problems. (SCE eBook: Out of the Cocoon)
