Redjac is back – part 2! — "Wolf at the Door" was the 23rd issue of DC Comics' 1984 series of Star Trek comics. It was the second of seven TOS stories by Tony Isabella and featured the climax of the two-part return of Redjac from TOS episode & Star Trek 8 novelization: Wolf in the Fold.

Summary[]
Saavik manages to sedate Bryce, but as she collapses, Redjac emerges from her body in the form of a frighteningly large non-corporeal beast. Richardson sees that Pavel Chekov is still alive, and Leonard McCoy hastily puts him in a form of stasis until he can be brought to surgery. Redjac continues to terrorize the landing party, first through James T. Kirk's communicator, then by compelling a band of Enochians to attack them. With communications being disrupted, the group buys time by fleeing into Redjac's temple.
Redjac forces groups of Enochians to climb into the temple and assault the crew. Eventually Montgomery Scott is able to beam up the landing party, but Redjac will not be thwarted. Drawing upon the fears of thousands of Enochians, it projects itself into space to attack Excelsior directly. Scott triggers a warp engine imbalance to form a wormhole, and they are able to trap the entity in it as the wormhole collapses. Konom senses that Redjac still lives and might be able to harness wormhole energy someday.

- The two-part arc was given a name (Wolf on the Prowl) on the cover of its reprinting in Graphic Novel Collection #57. An alternative title, "Redjac is Back", appeared on the cover of part two, but not part one.
